If the idea of Canyons aren't your cup o' morning brew, the Green Mountain Loop will greet you with a "top of the morning" salute; and, you won't see the same thing twice! Just minutes from Boulder, your Colorado hiking vacation will rejuvenate those inner-office blues. Bring binoculars, GPS, compass and topo-map and be prepared for a one-on-one conference with nature. If last year's trek in Yosemite National Park trapped you in noisy crowds, the Green Mountain Loop will be the Colorado hiking vacation escape you've yearned for.

If you've not come for a Colorado hiking holiday, but you'd like to leave the husband and kids downtown for a while, you can still escape. These next Colorado hikes are all less than ten miles-easily done in less than four to five hours, before lunch.
