The microwave oven may be considered a luxury by some but look in almost every American household and you'll find one in at least pretty good working order. Why is this? The medium-capacity microwave on the other hand is typically created much wider than the compact microwave. And because of this larger they can be used for a variety of other things. This is the typical family microwave and have a few more auto-cook features than the compact microwave.

Large-capacity microwaves are finally the ones most suited for cooking big meals. They can handle large items like turkey breast and roasts. They have very precise auto-cook features and have temperature control functions as well. They normally use over 2000 watts and have 2 cubic feet of capacity.

In addition there are two kinds of microwaves. The first is the most common variety: the countertop. As the name would imply, they are designed to sit on a table or counter. Built-in microwaves are built into the cabinetry similar to traditional ovens. They are usually more expensive than tabletop microwaves.
