Have You Got What It Takes To Work At Home?Rick Martin ![]() Working from home,, ahh a great dream of many.
But do you realize what it takes to be successful at it?
First it IS a job just like any other, only it is Your business.
So You can set the hours and the days to your liking. But, and that is a big but...
you must be serious about doing those hours and days. You have to shut out
the outside interuptions and concentrate totally on the job at hand.
Easier said than done at first.
I have been self employed since 1981. Mostly brick and mortar type businesses
but with the purchase of a computer, I realized a whole new world was out there.
And after just the last 2 years of learning and working at it, I realize that it is pretty
much the same as a brick and mortar biz, only less hectic, for me anyway.
First I guess you have to find something that you like or want to do. If you don't have alot of money, well there are inexpensive programs and inexpensive advertising, till you can make some $$.
I have been in alot of things and found that without work you don't make nutin. You may be promised alot but it still takes effort on your part to make it succeed. The Big Dogs definately worked to get there. So look for something that interest you and not just some Make a Million a week join here type of program, they usually are for more expereinced marketers.
Are you into MLM?, or want to sell a product, or how about your own e- books?
Well there is 1.1 billion people with computers they say and alot are looking for something. You might just have what they want.
I found a couple of things that I like and are cheap fun. I work about 2 to 3 hours in the morning, then go play, golf, fishing, or ride my Hawg around the mountains. Then check back in the evening for a couple more hours and I'm done.
Hope ya find something that will make you very successful.
