What kind of individual drives a Lamborghini? A Ferrari? A Porsche?
A smug wall street junkie itching for confirmation as to flaunt his money like a
inebriated king?
An insecure man looking to rejuvenate his confidence for the benefit of the opposite
sex?
Notice, I'm using the above mentioned men as the stereotypical, typical boors
that society assumes to be part an parcel with the perceived macho filled
image these powerful machines exude.
Yes, stereotypes are usually born out of some painful truth.
And yes,
there are those who wear the above mentioned norms like perfect fitting driving
gloves (to go along with the furry dice)....BUT, not all drivers of exotic
cars are middle aged men with too much jewelry around their neck, and vests
exposed way to low, looking to pickup women of ill repute, all the while
sounding like a voice over actor to a bad 70's porn movie, with the entire diatribe
centered around the word "babe".
However, there are those men and female drivers, who albeit, possessing incomes that
allow full access to these high price road toys, are indeed fanatics in every implication
of the word. These are the types who recognize the skill, craftsmanship, and
artistry that are requisites to producing the highest caliber driving machines to
date.
And oh yes, I did say artistry.
For artistry is what separates a utilitarian tool meant only as means of transport,
and the aesthetically relevant dimensions of a Lamborghini Reventon!
These individuals recognize skill and natural aptitude. Not in automobiles only.
I'll let you in on a little known secret...These connoisseurs are usually the type
who recognize and appreciate the aforementioned qualities in all walks of life!
These traits usually are recognized deep within their own psyches. So when familiar ground is
crossed over...and in this case driven on by high end auto makers....A familiar sigh
of... "AHHH, yes! I recognize!" usually is the first sign of acceptance and knowing.
And did I mention....these boys and girls can drive! And I mean DRIVE!
I have had the distinct pleasure of attempting to drive a Lamborghini Countach .
Let's leave it at the fact that they don't call it the "BULL" for nothing.
Even a Porsche 944 (belonging to an old flame) can get out from under your hands if you are the
casual driver who coasted the driving test within the polite and safe confines of
the trudging rust buckets that pass for cars.
Point is, if you choose to tame a Ferrari, or a Lambo, a Porsche, a Viper, or any
other fire breathing machine hell bent on conquest, you best know the difference
between horses and ponies!
These types of drivers don't play around (well most of the time....sometimes you do
find a rich Romeo who can't best Juliet, or usually ends up frying his
clutch...check YouTube).
But mostly, they are serious drivers commandeering street legal racing machines.
Some of them actually compete in real sanctioned events, and not some poorly
thought out interpretation of a shoddy auto drama movie to begin with.
Now, unfortunately, certain models of cars are limited runs, or a certain
production year only. Where does a serious buyer acquire them?
Pre online days, I would have said, "road trip!"
Now, I would say "mouse", "point", "click"..........times have changed.
Now how about a site that lists only the most recent, constantly refreshed listings
(new and used), and auctions, of only exotic cars, such as; Lamborghini, Ferrari,
Porsche, Dodge Viper, Bugatti, and so on. Books, widgets, posters, collectibles...and all manner of $10-20 items, all the way to the main purpose and mission of the site...which would of course be the above mentioned sale displays.
All thematically organized, user user definable (by price, type, used, new, etc.)
AND...all without endless menus and clutter associated with "other" sites, where a
user spends an hour digging half way into the site before even seeing the first
listing!

really does speak for itself. And no incessant rambling.......only cars, cars, and
more cars. And only the top kind. I think Ferruccio Lamborghini, and Enzo Ferrari
would...well, you know what I mean.
