MLM / Network Marketing – The Future of Business

MLM, What is it?
It's skyrocketing, and believe it or not, more people than ever are turning to Network Marketing, or MLM (Multi-Level Marketing). If you don't know what MLM is, I'll provide a brief description. Most work as follows: One person orders a service or product. That person appreciates the product and tells other people that the product is good and they should have/use it as well. It's up to you how much you want to make out of it. These days there are intelligent systems which implement a month-to-month service for MLM. This way each person has no selling to do, just referring others to the service and make a percentage of the monthly profits. This is the best way to go about MLM if you're not a sales person.
It's been stated that the next 10 million millionaires will be from Network Marketing.
The Reason? There's Several:
1) Job Security Has Gone out the Window.
No longer are we dropped straight into our mother's or father's work when we come of age. These days, everyone has to find their own jobs, and of course - regardless of years spent with the company - can be dropped at a moment's notice! We've all been fired at least once. Ironic how it turns out the job you get fired from usually happens to be the one that you worked the hardest at, isn't it? Because of this even the employers have no security in the employees, because we all know there's a chance we could be fired so we of course move on to the next best paying opportunity.
2) Relief from Stress.
There are many causes of stress, job security being one of the heavy hitters. But there are many other universal causes of stress from your worksite: Bosses, deadlines, payment, hours spent working, lack of sleep, and of course there are job specific causes of stress as well. Even thinking of the list can be a little stress-inducing.
Well, with MLM, you have control of all those aspects. You work as much as you want to; you are your own boss, and so on. And because of the popularity of MLM today, there are many programs which have little to no risk or investment required.
My suggestion is if someone you know has invited you to join a MLM, jump on it now, when it's fresh and new. Not that getting in later on the business is a bad thing, but that it will be easier to join when it's young.
3) Integration of the Internet.
The use and integration of the internet is extremely easy to spread products and services now. In the past MLM was solely through word-of-mouth and that takes a certain outgoing personality. Now, we can meet thousands of strangers online through forums, chats, social networking sites such as FaceBook, Myspace, etc. without having to overcome our shyness!
4) Finally, it's Fun.
It's still work, but if you choose to venture into the MLM territories, you'll in time realize all the great benefits it has on people. As I just stated, with the internet you could build a business without ever talking to someone in person, however, if you find yourself making money, soon you're going to want to start telling everyone you know, and you'll be laughing at yourself when you realize how much you've changed because of it.
But even more importantly, I have seen many families and friends (my own included) come closer together because of an MLM they have joined. The reason is because it provides an excuse for people to get together and work together! And because many MLM's are about teamwork, families and friend will have fun working as a whole.
The Result: You'll do it Too.
It's inevitable; you will do it too because of several reasons. Either someone you care about will ask you to help them with it or you will see a deal that you just can't pass up on. Be careful; there are plenty of scams out there, but there are also many great opportunities. You don't need to invest an arm and leg (or even a foot) if you don't want to. And yes, you can still be successful. Many of us are making a living with little investment. But yes, you will have to work at it. But looking at all the benefits of networking, I promise you won't regret it.
