Branding vs. Selling

When advertising the last thing you want to do is to have the reader only see that you are trying to get into their pocket. The main goal of marketing and advertinig is NOT to sell and idea, product or service. The goal is to make the client (or potential client) aware of YOU and/or YOUR company; it is called BRANDING.

We have all seen Coca-Cola, Nike and giant Corporations never mention their actaul company name or any product that they "sell". They are promoting an idea, a concept, a lifestyle and a fantasy. People like feeling good about themselves and like to be optimisting about life.

Learn to brand yourself and you will be successful in anything that you do. Branding will allow people to feel comfortable with you, your service and your company.
