On the the level that comes close to home, we all know that most people are having it hard with the energy crisis and the sinking economy. Almost everybody is worried, unless you are financially independant and most people are not. So how do you stay happy regardless of the conditions?
Look out into the world today and you will notice that most of the world is suffering. At the time of writing, North American is reeling at the hands of the third such tropical storm with the last month. There is much damage, and there is much war in this planet that we call earth. So how do you stay happy regardless of the conditions?
No, you do not need the latest Micheal Jordan shoes, high heels or even a facebook page that has 500 friends on it. In this generation of flashing lights, smoke screens and media, we have lost touch with just what exactly fulfils us as humans.
Plenty of people think that it is material that leads to making us but they can be no further from the truth. Happiness begins inside of you and the fastest way to be happy is to look inside of you.
Time and time again, I hear people talk about their childhood as some of the happiest days in their lives.Childhood's where they essentially had nothing, but were still free and happy.
I hear about people in the islands who talk about the fun they used to have as kids where they would just have each other, a beach and some fruit. Even others who may be from Canada or the United States talk about just playing hockey or baseball in the street way before they could play it on a nintendo system.
In order to be happy you just need to think happy and/or positive thoughts. This is the simplest and most direct route to being happy.
