Football icon David Beckham is an excellent case in point: he owns countless cars...countless because he keeps buying and selling some and giving away vehicles. His ever changing collection has included at any given point a custom built Ferrari, a Porsche 911, a Range Rover, a Jaguar, a Bentley, and a Rolls-Royce Phantom. Also on the list is a Lamborghini Gallardo, a Mercedes S500 and a Bentley Arnage. A hummer H2 joined the ranks recently.
Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson is expected by trade to own any number of cars and in fact he doesn't disappoint. A Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder , a Ford Escort RS Cosworth, a Mercedes-Benz SLK55 AMG, a Ford GT, a Volvo XC90, a 1980s Alfa Romeo GTV6, a Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG, a Ford Focus, a Ferrari F355, a Mercedes-Benz 600 Grosser, two VW Sciroccos, an ex-military Land Rover Defender, a Jaguar XJR, an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, a BMW 3.0 CSL and a BMW Z1 have all graced his garage at some point. In fact, he still owns most of them!
Don't leave the girls out this either: Madonna alone owns an Audi A8, a Mini Cooper S, a BMW 7-Series and of course her signature Maybach limousine. British glamour model Jodie Marsh owns an Audi TT, a Toyota Vigo and is in the market for a Dodge Ram.
Rowan Atkinson owns a McLaren F1 all to himself and included under the roof of his motoring stable is a Bentley Mulsanne, an Aston Martin V8 Zagato, the family Audi 8 and an MG X-Power SV.
British tennis star Tim Henman has owned a Peugeot 306 XSi, a silver Jaguar XKR, a Mercedes C43 AMG, a Mercedes 500SL and a Porsche 911 Carrera 4.
Not one of these celebrities would dream of driving their darlings into the street without an excellent car insurance policy though...and lucky for them there are many policies available.
