Rohan Skea: Achievements in Sports

Whilst having spent some time in business doing mergers & acquisitions, Government privatization projects, wine making and television production Rohan Skea's real passion lies in sports, especially motor racing. The sporting achievements he is most proud of include the following:
Former state and national swimming champion
Open water swimming achievements:
- 2003 - Rottnest Channel Swim 20km swim, the largest open water swimming race in the world with over 2000 competitors)
- 2003 - Busselton Pier Open water swimming race
- 2004 - The Skea Team won multiple men's and women's individual and team races - Rottnest Channel Swim
- 2004 - The Skea Team won men's doubles race - - Busselton Pier Open water swimming race
Former State and National Surf Life Saving Champion.
Former professional race driver
- Founder and owner of Skea Racing International, headquartered in Perth and with race factories based in Cambridge ( UK) and Charlotte ( North Carolina)
- First Australian motorsport team to compete in an entire international professional motorsport series - American Le Mans Series (competes in USA, Canada, Germany, UK, France, Belgium)
- First Australian owned/managed motorsport team to be invited to compete at the Le Mans 24 Hour
- Race; finished the race on debut; second place GT Class on debut
- Third place overall in American Le Mans Series 2000
- 39th place overall, Daytona 24 Hour (Florida, USA) 2000
- 2nd place Sebring 12 Hr, GT Class (Florida, USA) 2000
- 2nd place Le Mans 24 Hour, GT Class (France) 2000
- 2nd place Nurburgring 1000 kl Grand Prix, G T Class (Germany) 2000
