Apple knew how to develop great products from the start. When it developed the Apple iPhone it had new it was destined to become hugely popular. In fact, way before the Apple iPhone was launched, Apple had already created a hugely popular program called iTunes. With that in mind, the iPhone and has many ways to customize your ringtones. Personalizing your iPhone is a huge past time especially for the teens and young adults. I'll talk a bit more about the iPhone and ringtones here in this article.

Not only does the iPhone have cell phone capabilities, but it also allows you to organize many things, just like a PDA. It has a camera and MP3 player as well. The many ways for you to customize your phone is incredible. Depending on what type of music or sounds that you like, you can customize the iPhone with heavy metal, fusion, jazz, or rock or anything that you can turn into sound, basically.

The great thing about a customize ringtone is that you make the iPhone personal to your tastes and you can pick out your iPhone from any other iPhone based on its particular ringtones. With multiple different ringtones, you can also set up different people to a particular ringtone. This way, when someone calls that is assigned to that ringtone, you will easily be able to determine whether you want to pickup that call, drop what you are doing or let it go into voice mail. You are only limited to your imagination and the how much memory is left on you iPhone.

There's so much that your iPhone can do that It's impossible to list everything in one article.

Apple ‘s iTunes allows you to download a song from their enormous library. If a song has a bell symbol next to it then that song is able to be created into a ringtone. The iTunes application then walks you through the process of creating your special ringtone from the portion of the song that you want.

Now, there are several other 3rd party applications that can create ringtones so that you don't have to pay Apple $2 for each ringtone. Apple is constantly trying to figure out ways to keep hackers from breaking through iTunes through 3rd party programs. Your best bet is to check the forums and blogs from people who actually have tried these methods.

At the end of the day, you can set your phone back to its factory default settings if you end up not getting it right. There is also a product called GarageBand, which, if you have an original song or audio recording, you should be able to create a ringtone from that song directly.
