TV is here to stayCherry Pua ![]() Here's today's reality A study by Dorothy Singer , Jerome Singer and Diana Zuckerman [1] in 1989 revealed that more than 99% of American families owned at least one television set. Many families owned two or three, and 68.8% of homes owned a videotape recorder. TV is already here to stay. We can't get away with it. In this modern age of incessant hurry, of instant noodles and fast food counters, our world has already changed. TV has assumed a more prominent role in the household. TV becomes the surrogate nanny. It's convenient and it's cheap. Here's a thought What if we endow our television set with super teaching powers?
