How To Fold Up Your Chinos or Jeans

Fashion is not always easy. Some rules apply for some garments but not for others. If your boot cut jeans for example are to long you can't just fold them up. The only way to save the day in this case is to go to the tailer and ask him to make them shorter. To fold up your jeans they have to have straight preferably narrow legs. Folding up jeans gives an rockabilly touch and is not recommended for the fashion guys. Chinos how ever is great to fold up. Use small turns. How far you fold them is of course up to you but the higher up on the leg, the more fashion you are (when you reach up to one third of you start to look like a clown, so there are limits even here...). If you fold them high enough for your socks to show, make sure to have colorful or patterned ones that makes the statement that you really want to show them. You don't want people to get the impression that you just folded up your pants becourse they are to long. The point of folding up your pants is to give your outfit a nice detail that signals that you are a guy with a great fashion sence. This is especially nice when your outfit is simple. Just a t-shirt and a pair of narrow jeans fit chinos looks great and interesting if you fold up your chinos. Sweden is always a step ahead when it comes to fashion.
