Make Money With Your Own Battery Reconditioning Business
by Linda RobertsonWhat is Battery Reconditioning?
What's a battery? It's basically an energy-storing chemical plant. And batteries wear out. They go bad. As a result, battery replacement is a 17 billion dollar market in the United States.
Well, many batteries that are being replaced could instead be reconditioned. In other words, they don't need to be thrown away. They simply need a good "tune-up." This is where battery reconditioning comes in. Battery reconditioning refers to the adding of the right chemicals and the recharging of the battery to its proper specifications. When done right, battery reconditioning can add life to the battery. It's good for the consumer and good for the environment.
There are, of course, different types of batteries. Before entering into the battery reconditioning business, you need to understand batteries and invest in the right tools and training.
Why Battery Reconditioning is a Great Business
If you want a lucrative, part-time business you can work out of your home, you can't go wrong with battery reconditioning. Why? First, the economy is all about supply-and-demand. It's the underlying foundation to any economy. For instance, the main reason why the auto manufacturers are teetering on the edge of collapse is simply because the DEMAND for their products isn't sufficient to meet their supply. As a result, the auto companies are losing money. A company can only make money so long as the demand for its products and services pays for the cost of its supplying those products and services -- and does so to the point where it turns a profit.
1) Well, guess what? One thing that isn't going away is technology. In fact, we are becoming not only more technological, but also more portable. Ipods, cell phones, laptop computers, GPS devices, and (yup) automobiles are here to stay, and all these things (and more) have one thing in common. They need power. And that's where YOU come in!
2) The second reason battery reconditioning is a great business is that you don't need a large amount of start-up funding or education to get into business for yourself. Just about anyone can learn how to test and recondition batteries. It doesn't take that much money to get started, and yet it can earn you a fair amount of money, once you get going! That's my kind of business!
