Independence Day

a holiday, a day,
as many other of the days, and yet, it has its rate
much higher than the other,-
the new approach, a free domain
to know how to respect all as one's brothers.
it's not so easy to get freedom - no,
it's not so easy to be one's own host,
it means hard work, at a high cost,
also the mourning for the lost,
but all the same the taste is sweet, so fresh and dear,
that all the speheres
known and felt
can hardly tell
the high-toned mood,
as fresh as the air in the woods,
as clear as the wells water,
the Independence is announced, and now it is reported
to be the basics of the rights,
to be the measure of the heights,
to be the source of our pride,
to be unlimitless, so wide,
so very deep in our hearts,
to be so pleasant and so nice
that all the feelings of the moment
rise
the Flag of Freedom-Independence,
an honest symbol of dependence
upon the right so equally revered:
the Independence without fear,
without limits and restrictions,
a realm of liberty so much waited for,
the Holiday is at the door!
